SOS Children’s Villages

Founded in 1949 in Austria, the non-profit organisation SOS Children’s Villages aimed to respond to the distress of orphaned and abandoned children after the Second World War.

Today present in more than 135 countries, SOS works to guarantee a loving and secure family environment for all children.

In Belgium, the organisation supports nine projects, thus helping to improve the lives of thousands of children. Every day, it works to strengthen families in difficulty, provide suitable care alternatives for children without families and support young people towards independence.

Through its ongoing commitment, SOS Children’s Villages aspires to create a world where every child, whatever their background, finds love, security and support to become a fulfilled member of society.

Addition of a point on the support provided by the Foundation: since when, in what form, possibly with what results?
