In 1985, Michèle and Eric Cumps-Klein welcomed into their home a Mauritian baby, whom they named Hugo.
After the sudden death of their adopted son in June 2016, the couple, surrounded by their other three children, decided to perpetuate his memory by creating the Hugo Cumps Foundation. This initiative aims to raise funds to support projects to help disadvantaged children in Mauritius, Hugo’s homeland.
The mission of the Hugo Cumps Foundation reflects his deep commitment to the well-being of children and his desire to pay tribute to a loved one by positively impacting the lives of others.
